There were scores of people taking a morning walk on the path surrounding the Ardhnareeswarar temple tank in Nanganallur. Mr Chidambaram seemed to stand out in this group. He was carrying a trash picker grabber caliper to pick up plastic trash and deposit it in the appropriate trash bin near the entrance.

Never drive with a bald tyre. This man in the by-lanes of General Patters Road deals in used tyres. The whole area specialises in recycling and refurbishing used or damaged automobile parts and accessories.
